With The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2, BTS shows us the beginnings of their journey toward change. Last week we talked about the metaphor of a caterpillar’s chrysalis—the transformation into a butterfly. As we look at the second half of the album, that theme continues, and we begin to see the cracks forming in the cocoon. How will they emerge?

You've probably seen his infectious smile and heard his powerful vocals, but who is Jin beyond the stage persona? As the eldest member of BTS, Jin brings a sense of maturity and stability to the group. The next album in the HYYH series, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2 is a continued exploration of themes associated with ‘youth’. Where the first part is was fragility and desperation, the next installment is all frenetic energy. We find BTS literally running toward their destiny, searching for a resolution to their confusing feelings.

As they move into fall, not only are they appearing on tons of variety and interview programs, but they’re getting into the groove of their own show, Run BTS!

As we wade into The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1 , we’ll watch BTS step boldly into the next phase of their career. They’ll tackle even more taboo topics in their music through the Bangtan Universe (the BU) storyline. Their focus will shift to more emotional storytelling, all while reminding us that they never stop working hard for what they want—that they are… kind of ‘dope’.

Rolling into 2015, we continue on with DARK & WILD, but this week feels like we’re leaving the ‘dark’ behind and focusing more on the ‘wild’. And remember how they might have broken up with us last week? Hmmm… seems like now they want us back, and they’ll pull out all the stops to make it happen.
